Used Jet & Turboprop Aircraft Prices Trend Sideways As Inventory Levels Dip More Than 15% Year Over Year

The reports highlight a sideways trend in asking prices for used jets and turboprop aircraft, with inventory levels down year over year by 16.73% and 17.76%, respectively.

    Global Used Jet Aircraft

    • Inventory levels in the used jet market decreased by 3.95% month over month and 16.73% YOY in November and are trending sideways. The used large jet category posted the largest monthly inventory decrease at 6.36%, while used super mid jet inventory levels dropped the most YOY, by 21.95%.
    • Asking prices are also trending sideways, inching lower by 1.35% M/M and 1.84% YOY in November. The used large jet category posted the largest M/M asking value drop at 2.73%, while the used super mid jet category had the largest YOY decline at 3.29%.

    U.S. and Canada Used Piston-Single Aircraft

    • Inventory levels in this market slipped 0.44% M/M and 5.33% YOY in November. Despite these decreases, however, the market is trending up.
    • Asking prices rose 2.29% M/M and 2.04% YOY and are trending up.

    Global Used Turboprop Aircraft

    • Inventory levels of used turboprop aircraft in the global market continued a months-long downward trend in November, with inventory levels falling 3.54% M/M and 17.76% YOY.
    • Asking values increased by 1.58% M/M and 1.95% YOY and are trending sideways.

    Global Used Robinson Piston Helicopters

    • Inventory levels in this market increased by 4.04% M/M, decreased by 10.43% YOY, and are trending up.
    • Asking values are also trending up. Asking values increased by 3.64% M/M and 10.07% YOY in November.
