New News! Arthur Aero Are Restoring Bearcats!

Allan Arthur has purchased several F8F Bearcat wrecks, NOS parts and jigs from Bruce Eames to rebuild in Albury, Australia at Arthur Aero. This great collection of wrecks and parts was gathered by Dusty Dowd over a period of four decades. Ezell Aviation helped Allan and Harry package and load everything into 2 x 40ft containers in Breckinridge, Texas, in October 2024. The Bearcats arrived in Albury, Australia, in early March 2025, where they will be rebuilding two Bearcats initially, one for Allan and the other for a customer. Among the wrecks to be restored is F8F-1 90446, previously owned by the late Howard Pardue, which sadly crashed at Breckenridge, TX, in 2012. Allan and Harry would like to thank Bruce Eames, Warren Pietsch, Chad Ezell, Dusty Dowd and Bernie Vasquez for all their help over the last 6 months.
