During the October 2026 annual inspection, cylinder compression readings were 76-76-78-77-78-77 with a .060 orifice compression tester. Borescope examination revealed excellent cylinder wall crosshatch markings, indicating very favorable cylinder condition, and the exhaust valve faces exhibited even heating patterns. Additionally, the owner reports oil consumption of approximately one quart per 10 hours of operation, an excellent figure for this engine. Taken together, the compression readings, borescope findings, and reported oil consumption present a very favorable picture of the engine's current condition.
Engine removed from aircraft in March of 2020 for low compressions after finding spalled lifters. Engine was sent to Precision Air Power for complete IRAN. They installed a new Camshaft, new lifters, overhauled all cylinders, new piston rings, etc.......etc......engine was reinstalled on the aircraft in September of 2020.
