    On of the favorite Mooney models for those that 'know'... 200 knots of speed (in the flight levels) on a miserly 13.5 gallons of fuel per hour. The -MB engine runs nicely LOP, so you can get the fuel flow even lower by fling lean of peak. Couple that with Monroy Long Range Fuel tanks, and you can literally fly from coast to coast in the US with a single fuel stop.
