The R88 is Robinson’s largest, most capable workhorse. The two-pilot, eight-passenger helicopter features a highly configurable interior for rapid mission adaptation. Powered by a Safran Arriel 2W engine, the R88 meets the growing demand for cost-effective, single-engine utility helicopters—while staying true to Robinson’s core principles: simplicity, dependability and reliability.

Powered by the Safran Arriel 2W engine. Includes the Safran Serenity Package: 2,000 hours/5 years of immediate and direct support from Safran. Internal payload accommodates over 3,000 pounds—delivering more than 3.5 hours of flight time and more than 350 nautical miles of range.

SAFETY & CAPABILITY Garmin avionics suite includes large G500H TXi displays and GTN navigators. Standard 4-axis autopilot including level mode, hover assist, limit cueing, low/high speed protection, and low altitude protection. A standard data recording system with Datalink automatically captures engine and system data for simplified operation and maintenance. A standard health usage monitoring system (HUMS) Dual hydraulics for pitch and roll for critical flight controls. Standard inlet barrier filter. Impact-resistant windshields.

Large sliding doors provide easy access for passengers and cargo. The rear has a fold-down, truck-bed style door for simplified cargo loading. Standard and high skids offer even better ground clearance and the ability to attach a firefighting water tank. LED aircraft exterior lights, including pulsed landing and taxi lights, tail rotor lighting, scene lighting, and entry lights, further enhancing utility and safety. Large G500H TXi displays and touchscreen GTN navigators with a crew alerting system. Type-certified for optional single-pilot IFR operations. Easy to maintain materials, comfortable seating and a versatile layout. All-new flat-floor allows for multiple forward and club seating configuration options. Cyclic controls on both the left and right of the cockpit allow pilots to command the aircraft from either side—and flexibility to remove the controls from either side for a non-rated passenger.
