Description
2009 Piper PA-46R-350T Matrix, N131T. 1,495.9 hours total time on the airframe and original factory engine, a September 2026 annual, and no accident or incident history. Meticulously maintained by Cutter Aviation, Midwest Malibu Center and B&G Aviation, all excellent PA-46 shops.
Engine: twin-turbocharged Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A with 429.6 hours since top overhaul. In 2020 a single small metal chip turned up in the oil suction screen at annual. It was a minor finding, but the engine was torn down as a precaution by Midwest Aircraft Services, and the only problem found was a cracked sump baffle plate. The engine came back better than it left: new main bearings, a new sump baffle, a new gasket set and overhauled cylinders, with compressions of 78 to 79 over 80 when it was reinstalled in December 2020. At the same time the airplane received the upgraded six-point engine mount (the old four-point mount is included with the sale), new engine shock mounts, Reiff preheat and an overhauled wastegate controller.
Panel: two-screen Avidyne Entegra, dual Avidyne IFD 440 WAAS navigators with Synthetic Vision (LPV approaches), S-TEC 55X autopilot with yaw damper, Active Traffic, Garmin GTX 330ES ADS-B Out and a copilot iPad mount.
Useful load: 1,349 lbs, with 629 lbs of payload at full fuel (120 gallons usable). Factory air conditioning and built-in oxygen. Original 2009 paint and interior, both rated 8/10.
Based at Georgetown (KGTU), Texas.
