The high-resolution CRT display provides a sunlight readable storm activity picture that can be used in tandem with conventional radar systems to determine the severity and stages of storms. Electrical discharge information is acquired and stored on all ranges simultaneously. Other features provide six programmable checklists, each containing a maximum of 30 lines with up to 20 characters per line. It automatically keeps weather information relative to the current aircraft heading.
