ALL-NEW ROBINSON R88 | AVAILABLE TO ORDER THROUGH VOLTERRA
The Robinson R88 is an all-new, highly capable single-engine turbine helicopter designed for operators who need more passenger capacity, payload, cabin space, and mission flexibility while maintaining the straightforward operation and operating economics Robinson is known for.
Powered by the 950 shp-class Safran Arriel 2W turbine engine, the R88 is designed to accommodate two pilots plus eight passengers and offers a highly configurable 275 cu. ft. flat-floor cabin. Robinson projects an internal payload of more than 2,800 lbs, with up to approximately 1,800 lbs of payload with full fuel, more than 350 nautical miles of range, and over 3.5 hours of endurance.
Large sliding cabin doors on both sides and a unique fold-down, truck-bed-style rear door provide excellent access for passengers, equipment, bulky cargo, or a HEMS stretcher. The flexible cabin can be configured for passenger transportation, executive use, utility operations, air medical, public safety, firefighting, and other commercial missions.
The R88 features a modern Garmin avionics suite with G500H TXi displays, GTN touchscreen navigators, crew alerting, and a standard 4-axis Garmin autopilot with level mode, hover assist, limit cueing, low/high-speed protection, and low-altitude protection.
Available mission equipment is planned to include a 3,000 lb HEC-rated cargo hook, utility basket, wire-strike protection, pop-out floats, high skids, and firefighting equipment.
Every R88 will also include Safran's Serenity support package for the Arriel 2W, providing five years or 2,000 flight hours of engine support, whichever comes first.
