Microair Avionics Announces T2000ADSB Companion App Launch

Pioneering Queensland avionics company Microair Avionics is proud to launch their next innovation in light aircraft safety: the T2000ADSB Companion App that goes with the ADSB Transponder to enable Firmware Updates.

The T2000ADSB Companion App, available for both iOS and Android, allows our customers to configure their products quickly and conveniently. 

Because the T2000ADSB has a built in GPS and pressure altimeter, the app also allows easy access to flight information such as GPS position and velocity, and altitude. 

Customers can use the app to update the firmware in the T2000ADSB to the latest revision as new features are released, saving customers down time in returning parts to the factory. 

Speaking at the launch, Mr David Withers, CEO of Microair stated “the app is another step in the evolution of our products. It opens the door to a more personalised experience for our customers whilst increasing the ease of use and functionality of our best-selling T2000 range.”

In parallel Microair are releasing version 1.0.3 firmware which adds the functionality to support the app and several other improvements and fixes.

Designed and manufactured in Queensland, the T2000ADSB is a lightweight transponder with low power requirements. There is also an upgrade version available that is plug-and-play compatible with Microair’s existing T2000SLF series transponder.
